01 / Agreement and eligibility

These are the rules for using Heated

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Heated Social Club (“Heated,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a service based in Colorado, United States. They apply to the Heated mobile application, heatedsocialclub.com, recipe-import tools, and related services (together, the “Services”). These Terms are effective September 8, 2026.

By creating an account, importing or posting content, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Additional terms shown for a specific feature or offer also apply. If they conflict with these Terms, the more specific terms control for that feature or offer.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Heated. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review these Terms with you and provide any permission required by local law. You may not use the Services if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

02 / Accounts

Your account is yours to look after

Provide accurate information, keep it current, safeguard your sign-in method, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by Heated or where applicable law provides otherwise.

You may not sell, rent, transfer, or share access to your account. You may delete your account through Settings. Account deletion is separate from canceling an Apple or Google subscription and does not automatically stop store billing.

03 / Using Heated

A limited license, not a sale

Subject to these Terms, Heated grants you a limited, personal or internal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable right to use the Services for your own lawful purposes. The application is licensed, not sold. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits it:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or non-public systems;
• use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automation to access or extract from Heated at scale;
• bypass security, access controls, rate limits, import allowances, or purchase checks;
• interfere with the Services or place an unreasonable load on our systems; or
• systematically extract Heated data or output to build a competing dataset, model, or service.

04 / Your content and sharing

You keep ownership; we take only the rights we need

“User Content” means recipes, source links, photos, videos, audio, notes, cook posts, comments, profile information, and other material you submit, save, or share through Heated. As between you and Heated, you retain your rights in User Content. These Terms do not give you ownership of material that belongs to someone else.

You grant Heated a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, reproduce, process, transcode, format, and create technical adaptations of your User Content, and to display or distribute it to the audiences you choose. We may sublicense these limited rights to service providers and sharing recipients only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the Services. This license does not permit Heated to use private User Content to train a general-purpose AI model or to advertise a third party’s products.

The license lasts while the User Content is stored with Heated and ends when it is deleted, subject to short-lived backups, legal retention, and copies independently made by people you shared it with. If you make content available through an exact sharing link, anyone with that link can view and forward it. Cook posts, comments, kudos, and related activity may appear to your followers. Choose what you share accordingly.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit User Content and direct Heated to process and share it as you request. Do not submit confidential information, another person’s personal information, or private material without authorization.

05 / Recipe imports

Imports begin with your request

Heated lets you import individual recipes from links, pages, captions, images, video, audio, or text that you choose. An import request directs Heated and its providers to retrieve and process that material for you. It does not grant ownership of the source material or permission to republish it.

Only import material you may lawfully access and use. Do not use Heated to defeat a paywall, login requirement, technical protection measure, robots restriction, platform rule, or other access control. You must comply with the source service’s terms and applicable law. Heated may decline, limit, or remove an import when a source blocks access, the request creates technical or legal risk, or we receive a credible complaint.

We preserve available source links and creator attribution where the product supports it. Attribution does not establish that the source creator endorsed Heated or that an import is lawful. Do not remove or falsify source credit.

06 / Community rules

Keep the club useful and safe

You may not use Heated to create, upload, import, share, or encourage:

• illegal content or conduct, or infringement of intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, pornography, or sexual content involving minors;
• threats, harassment, bullying, stalking, hateful abuse, or content intended to cause physical harm;
• fraud, impersonation, deceptive practices, spam, unauthorized promotions, or manipulated engagement;
• malware, credential theft, unauthorized access, or instructions primarily intended to facilitate wrongdoing;
• another person’s sensitive or identifying information without a lawful reason and appropriate permission; or
• attempts to evade enforcement, blocked-user controls, safety measures, or account restrictions.

Report objectionable or illegal content through any reporting tool available in the Services or by emailing [email protected]. Include a link or other information that lets us locate the content and explain why you believe it violates these Terms or the law. If you believe someone poses an immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

07 / Subscriptions and purchases

Heated+ renews until you cancel

Heated may offer free features and an optional Heated+ subscription. The purchase screen identifies the current features, localized price, billing period, taxes, introductory offer, and renewal terms. Those purchase-screen terms control if they differ from a general description elsewhere in the Services.

Heated+ subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through the applicable app store before the deadline it shows. Your store account is charged at confirmation and for each renewal. A free or discounted introductory offer converts to the stated paid subscription unless canceled before the offer ends. Eligibility is determined by the store and an offer may be available only once.

Manage or cancel through your Apple or Google account. Cancellation normally stops future renewals while access continues through the paid period. Refunds, credits, and billing disputes are handled under the store’s rules and applicable law. Heated cannot issue a store refund directly unless the store permits it.

We may adjust free limits or features prospectively. If we materially reduce a paid feature during a prepaid period, we will provide any notice, continued access, credit, or refund required by the store or applicable law.

08 / Copyright complaints

Tell us what should come down

If you believe material available through Heated infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright Notice.” Your notice should include:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• identification of the copyrighted work or a representative list of works;
• the exact content or link at issue and enough information for us to locate it;
• your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
• a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner.

We may forward a notice to the affected user and may accept a counter-notice where applicable law provides one. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation can create liability. Heated may remove or disable access to disputed content and may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

09 / Third-party services

Other services keep their own rules

The Services may interact with app stores, sign-in providers, source websites, social platforms, links, and other third-party products. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. Heated does not control or endorse third-party content merely because it appears in an import, source link, or shared recipe.

You must comply with applicable third-party terms, including wireless-data, platform, and app-store rules. A third party may change, restrict, or stop access without notice to Heated, which can make an import or other feature unavailable.

10 / Food, health, and AI

Review before you cook

Recipes, nutrition information, substitutions, temperatures, timings, and AI-assisted extraction are provided for general informational purposes. Heated does not provide medical, dietary, nutritional, or professional food-safety advice. Automated output can omit details, misread a source, or be wrong.

Check the original source and use your own judgment. Verify allergens, dietary needs, ingredient safety, equipment instructions, storage guidance, and safe internal temperatures. Consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary decisions. You are responsible for deciding whether a recipe is appropriate for you and for cooking and consuming food safely.

11 / Moderation and termination

How we enforce these rules

We may investigate reports and use proportionate measures based on context, severity, risk, and account history. Measures can include warnings, reduced visibility, removal of content, disabling an import or sharing link, limiting features, suspension, or account termination. We may preserve evidence or notify authorities when reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

Where required, we will provide the affected user with the reason for a moderation decision and an opportunity to appeal. Send an appeal to [email protected] with the account, content, decision, and reason you believe it should be changed. We will apply these rules diligently, objectively, and proportionately.

You may stop using Heated and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, a safety or security threat, nonpayment, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Services. When practical and lawful, we will give notice and a chance to export private content before a service-wide discontinuation.

12 / Disclaimers and liability

The limits of the service and this agreement

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Heated disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that every import or item of User Content will be accurate or remain available. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer guarantee that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heated and its officers, employees, agents, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, use, or data, arising from the Services or these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heated’s total liability for all claims arising from the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid Heated for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Heated from third-party claims arising from User Content you submit, your unlawful use of the Services, or your material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Heated, and it does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.

13 / Disputes and general terms

Start with a conversation

Before filing a claim, you and Heated agree to try in good faith for 30 days to resolve it informally. Email a description of the issue and requested resolution to [email protected]. Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief when necessary to prevent immediate harm. This paragraph does not extend a legal deadline unless the law permits it.

Colorado law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim where you live, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Denver County, Colorado. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive a right to participate in a class action where that right applies.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the rest will remain effective. A waiver must be in writing and is not a continuing waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; Heated may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the Services. These Terms and feature-specific terms are the entire agreement about the Services.

14 / Apple and Google terms

The store also has a seat at the table

If you obtained Heated through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreementgoverns the license to the iOS application, and these Terms govern your Heated account and Services. Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Heated. Heated, not Apple, is responsible for the Services, their content, product claims, and intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the provisions applicable to the iOS application.

If you obtained Heated through Google Play, the Google Play terms govern the app download and store transaction, while these Terms govern your Heated account and Services. Apple or Google store terms control only to the extent of a direct conflict concerning the applicable app license, purchase, cancellation, or refund.

You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a United States government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on a United States government prohibited- or restricted-party list. You must comply with applicable export-control and sanctions laws.

15 / Changes and contact

Questions belong at the table

We may update these Terms as Heated changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice before a material change takes effect when required. A change will not retroactively reduce rights for a completed purchase or require consent where applicable law says it cannot. If you do not agree to an updated term, stop using the affected Services and delete your account before it takes effect.
